Well, there isn't all that much to say at the moment, but for most of july i won't be here because of three reasons, 1) I'm visiting my aunt in virginia, 2) I'm going to a religious camp, as i've surely mentioned before, and 3) I'm going to north carolina, because thats where some of my uncles relatives live, i imagine i will probably be meeting people i've never met before seeing as how i only know his brother "Sport" and his wife. i might, MIGHT have time to write a journal after my visit to virginia since we will return for a day, really, for all i know we just might take the computer with us. who knows really.
i said something today, all serious, and my uncle was like "well excuse me miss smartass!" and i was all like wtf was that for, i was being serious. oh well, i have long accepted his TOTAL RIDICULOUSNESS, sorry, its frustrating.
yesterday i went to my friend MK's house for the first time, it was pretty cool, but OMG HIS GRANDMOTHER THOUGH!! she has a british accent (I'm sorry, again, but all kinds of accents intrigue me, but british is one of my favorites) and even awesome, she was a police officer in THE 1950s LIKE WHOA IMPRESSIVE. yeah, apparently for sex crimes, and she was pretty high up too, like vice something (sorry i can't remember that second word) how amazing is that, she not only succeeded in getting a job in the 1950s, but was a police officer AND really high up. oh wow, I'm fangirling over someone's grandmother
ANYWAYS.... oh yeah, my cousins birthday party, its going to be on the 21st of june (this month, obviously) thats one of my days, like, and not just one of the days, its one of the THIS HAPPENED TODAY kind of days that make me all depressed for like a week or 2 right before the day passes. its one of the really, really, super ultra bad days. aka the last time i saw my dad not in prison clothes day (our unbeknownst at the time parting, which wasn't even remotely pleasant) so yeah, hopefully i can keep it together for him, but i'm not so sure. its one of those things where i get all depressed all of a sudden and don't know why until some random time where i note the date, then i'm like, oh.... thats why... damn.
on a more pleasant note, i am going to sell like everything i own (electronics) that plays music, then buy something slightly better, that plays music, so instead of 3 crappy things, ill have one, better thing. yeah.
i love tea
It's Nostalgic
It's been a long time since I've been on here, and longer still since I've had the courage to try to draw again. Revisiting my DA account is certainly nostalgic, and reading my old journals makes me recall how hard I tried to sound like any other pre-teen, even as the subject of said journals weren't always the most average. I suppose it's bittersweet in a way. I'm sure I've lost much of my previously acquired drawing skills. Every single day I crave to create and yet something holds me back. Myself, probably. It's aggravating because I don't know what exactly is holding me back yet the need to create only gets stronger. I'm trying to swi
If only I could be on more often
Seriously, if my school laptop didn't block DA, i would be on everyday, but no, its blocked.
I wrote a memoir for english class, it was supposed to only be 3 pages long, it ended up being 14. I got a 95/100 on the overall project and my english teacher said that I captured exactly was a memoir is supposed to be. In case you didn't realize, I wrote about an actual day in my life. More specifically, the day it was decided that i should do inpatient at the adolescent "mental behavioral health unit." I can't even read it without being an emotional wreck. When my teacher handed it back to me, she told me i should blog. She seriously believes i sh

my excuse: i was grounded, and before i was grounded, i was tired from preseason, and in-between preseason and grounded-ment, too much homework.
well, there ended up not being cuts but Coach did put all her favorites on varsity regardless of sportsmanship or even soccer ability in some cases. guess what happened? THEY LOST ALMOST EVERY SINGLE GAME. then there was us, JV, the team no one gives a damn about and even less so because we are GIRLS jv. we won or tied all but 3, we lost our last 3 games. and in a home game, i had the chance to score a goal. actually, i was told it would've made it in had i actually realized that the goal wa
well crap theres gonna be cuts
in soccer i mean, in soccer.
we started practice on monday and there were at least 8 freshmen, way more than last year, and there are also several newbies in other grades as well. and unlike last year, this year, enough girls showed up(40) that theres going to be cuts. And because of my incredible lack of ability in all things soccer despite the innumerable amount of years I've played, i will probably be one of those cuts unless theres more people with a lack of what is being looked for than i originally noticed. Doubtful though. And those cuts will most likely be made known on friday, because of a game on saturday. well I'm going to co

"'Soylent Green' is PEOPLE!!!"
Yeah ... had to say that about the "eating:" comment.
Good luck with the traveling and having to visit family. Virginia is a beautiful state if you can get out away from the cities. Though I haven't been there since about 1982, it was one of my favorite places to be stationed while I was in the Navy.
I also LOVE tea. Most of the tea I have I purchase direct from an import company called Upton Tea (they have a great website at www.uptontea.com/shopcart/home… ) they have the best teas at very reasonable prices and excellent customer service. They also have a huge amount of information about tea and the history of tea. A couple of my favorite types of tea are the Lapsang Souchong (a black tea which is cured over fires so it has a smoky flavor) and the Pu-erh teas (which are fermented and aged and have a very distinct "Earthy" flavor). Both of these have strong and very unique flavors which I really enjoy. Another great thing about these varieties is they tend to not develop the bitterness that some other teas can get when they're steeped too long, allowing for stronger flavor.
Ah ... see, now you've gone and started me on one of my favorite subjects ...
Hope all the travels go well and that you get to have some fun. Hope the camp isn't too ... unpleasant. Do try to post something when and if you get a chance.
